I’m Austin Cheramie, a third-generation construction guy who’s been in business since 2012. You could say I was born into this work—I grew up around it and started learning from my family at a very young age. At 12, I hung my first piece of drywall with my grandfather. By 14, I had completed my first house. At 21, I was running my own drywall crew and painting houses in new construction.
At 23, I started working at Loyola University as their painter and drywall guy, which gave me even more experience. A few years later, around 27, I decided it was time to open my own company.
I’ve learned so much over the years, and through it all one thing has remained the same—I truly love what I do. For me, it’s not just about the work, it’s about carrying on my family’s legacy and delivering craftsmanship I can be proud of on every project.
